The general idea:
We will hike with garb and equipment as period as possible. No polyester. No mundane things visible.
We want to make an attempt on how it felt like moving from point A to B with equipment back then.
Normally you can walk in period shoes, hiking boots are not necessary. If so, it will be declared. Hiking boots are the only exception of the period attempt (see above).
You should bring something to drink and maybe to eat for the ramble.
Distances vary between 4 and 13 km, depending on the participants.
The hike does not count as official SCA-event but a get-together.
